Martin D-28:

BACKROUND INFORMATION:

The Martin D-28 is an acoustic guitar that was made by the founder Martin & Company (Co.), C.F. Martin in the city of Nazareth, Pennsylvania in 1931. It is known to be the most iconic American-made acoustic guitar out there these days. Even though the D-28 guitar is one of the larger types of guitars out these days, when it was first created, it was one of the smaller sized guitars back then. During the 1950's, the D-28 was so popular Martin customers had to wait two years, or even longer in order to own one themselves.

SOUND:

The Martin D-28's sound is a clear, powerful tone that most say is excellent for using for broadcasting or recording session, if you were to use it in a studio. Most musicians tend to use the D-28 just because it's sound is so soothing and has a nice smoothness to it.
